Next, the technomancer extends their own resonance to the device, granting it the desired function. This process is a Hardware+Logic extended test with a threshold of double the device's device rating. First, the technomancer chooses a device, and prepares it to be used as a technofocus by paying the karma cost of the finished focus * 2000 in nuyen, or an amount of computer components of equivalent value (see data trails). There are five types of technofoci (echo, resonance, threading, sustaining, and tasking), but they all work roughly the same way. To resolve this, enterprising technomancers have found a method of increasing their raw computing power by offloading resonance functions to matrix-enabled devices. >A balanced intermediary of supply and demand needs to have balanced services <3ĭisclaimer: this mechanic needs a name other than " technofoci" so if anyone has an idea that'd be greatly appreciated.ĭespite their great power ^/s, technomancers are still limited by one thing: the fact that the human brain can only do so much. >Ufufu, they’re a person who’s asking for that deep down anyways too. So isn’t it getting shaken up a teeensy bit kinda nice? >That smile knows nothing about human affection. >And his Lordship doesn’t care for that kid with the shit-eating grin, but that’s business! And what’s business without a few road bumps, right? They’re as unmerciful and to the point as you can be. The God here is the type who acts singularly, and doesn’t fool around. >If you take one misstep in this ever-revolving world, you’ll be disavowed by the rules of God. >This world is kind to human life, but at the same time, it’s extremely harsh towards the goodness of man. >But in this one, we can return to the starting point of human affection and stay there! Even the Chaldea group can get behind that. >China had too much of a unified rule, so there wasn’t too much fun to be had with it... But this Lostbelt does come with its own price for this. >But would you look at that…it’s already the Kali age. >While I monitor the growth of the Fantasy Tree, I should look for some wonderful creatures in this good-for-nothing world. >I know! I should get some serious business going! If I get started on my job, then the toxicity I had should come back too. >It’s not like a talented woman such as myself to get wrapped up in the past like this. >Then I could continue my carefree Lostbelt sightseeing tour, but what is I’m really doing right now? >Logically, creeping into the Shadow Border and planting even one bomb would throw them off. >I didn’t think that after they saved me from the Emperor, that my toxicity towards them would be wane like this... >Ugh, of course I get why, but! This is giving me crazy amounts of stress! Outside, the sunlight dims to a murky yellow, and the terrain becomes barren. ^(1) The Yuga calendar moves another segment, reaching its final day before it resets. My first resizing attempt made the baby elephant way too small, so I used that one for the label! So cute.įortunately, I had downloaded the PDF of the instructions, so since the link to the pattern no longer works, here is a link to it from this blog. Paisley Splash Elephant Quilt - baby elephant I drew the umbrella by hand not to difficult. I think my first mistake was that my math was off because for the large elephant, the instructions say to enlarge it 200%, so in the end I think I made this elephant 75% the size of the original template. To make the baby elephant template, I reduced the template provided for the large one, but it took a few tries to get the right size. Paisley Splash Elephant Quilt - splash detail There are a lot of great ideas for color schemes from others on Pinterest and Google, but I particularly like the addition of the little baby elephant holding an umbrella by this quilter. It is slightly geared toward their collection of fabrics, some of which are paisley, but easily adaptable to your own selection of fabrics.

I found this free pattern from Wyndham Fabrics (note, link stopped working see bottom of post). So the search began for patterns and ideas. Of course, a baby quilt was in order, and not just one of simple squares of various cute fabrics. We learned earlier this year that our nephew and his wife are expecting a child! It will be the first baby in the next generation on either side of our family, so it's quite an exciting event.
